Popular Japanese carmaker Honda has finally unveiled the new Jazz variant. Called the Honda Jazz Spotlight edition, it will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show on 1 October this year.

The Honda Jazz Spotlight edition is basically an evolution of the much hyped Jazz Keenlight concept which had been revealed at Geneva Motor Show this year in March. As per Honda, the Honda Jazz Spotlight Edition is basically meant to emphasize on series of design features for a more fashion-conscious customer.

The Honda Jazz spotlight edition comes with a lot many new features. These include some bronze colour touches on front grille, ORVMs, tailgate, centre console and steering wheel. The Honda Jazz Spotlight edition also comes with cool and peppy decals along its flanks and a matching set of 15-inch alloy wheels, also in bronze. The combination of black and bronze seems to look quite.. “Jazzy”!

As for the specs, the Honda Jazz Spotlight Edition is powered by a 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which can churn out 100bhp power mated to both manual gearbox and CVT.

Honda Keenlight edition made the masses see the customisation potential of the hatchback with its exterior featuring a Keenlight roof spoiler, mirror caps, front grille and tailgate decorations. The Jazz Spotlight goes one step ahead and mods the exterior for you by itself.

It has been almost a year since the New Honda Jazz was lunched in India. We can expect the Jazz spotlight edition to be launched in India soon as Honda would be counting on the incoming festive season to enhance their sales this quarter. With scores of new cars coming into the Indian market, Indians seem to show an affinity to the Honda brand. Only time will tell if the Honda Jazz Special Edition will be shown the same kind of love as has been showered upon the Honda City etc.
