As the year 2015 comes to a close we look back at the top releases this year and choose the top ones that you must get your hands on. 2015 has been a year of a lot of much-awaited sequels and quite a lot of new games. So here we have the list of top 7 Games of 2015 that you must play.

7. Batman: Arkham Knight

The Arkham franchise, well known for its unique and immersive combat has finally come to a close with this epic finale. Batman Arkham knight was one of the most awaited releases of this year. You are free to roam around Gotham city which is larger and more detailed than Arkham City’s map. The game is full of what we love about the franchise, the brawls, the story, the villains everything is just picture perfect to take this franchise to its final conclusion. The game could have been the best of the year, the PC release became its downfall. The game is a terrible mess of glitches on some PC and laggy graphics on others. Even after a large number of patches and fixes the issue still remains on the PCs. There is no denying the fact that Batman Arkham Knight is a beautiful game, but the PC issue takes its toll on the game. You can buy this game for PS4/Xbox One here.

6. Star Wars: Battlefront

Well, this year ended with a high dose of star wars and it would not have been complete without star wars game. DICE took on this challenge and came out with Star Wars Battlefront. Battlefront by and by is a multiplayer shooter game. The graphics of the game are certainly a head turner. The game looks beautiful and feels beautiful too. It is the perfect game to cap off this month’s star wars fever. The game features some really spectacular multiplayer missions. So pick up this beauty before the end of the year here.

5. Call of Duty Black Ops III

Ghosts was a disaster, with a clichéd storyline and not much to offer the crowd, Call of duty was in desperate need of a saviour and it came in the form of Advanced warfare, it gave the call of duty franchise the spark it needed and gave the gamers something new to wrap their heads around. The next addition to the call of duty offers much of the same and more. Much thought actually went into how the game could offer something the franchise has not seen previously. The result is something spectacular. The game puts the player in a not too distant future where it tackles a problem centred on mind-control. Killing robots and enemies was never this much fun. Pick up Call of Duty Black Ops III here.

4. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016

Many of you might be searching for FIFA 16. This year Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 beats FIFA 16 hands down. Although I always have had a soft spot for Konami’s franchise that dares to go against the might of EA. This year has been David vs. goliath case. PES has always been about the gameplay and what it lacks in earning sponsorships and contracts from teams. It more than makes up for it in the field, where it really matters. The gameplay is downright addictive. It really feels like playing the game. With an improvement of the game engine, physicality and a million other tweaks. This game has come out on top. Despite having the same repetitive commentary I guess we can cut Konami some slack. Check this game out on sale at the earliest here.

3. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid has established itself as a franchise that allows its players to really know what being a soldier feels like. Phantom Pain is one of the most versatile and elaborate games ever made. It allows the player to plan out every detail of a mission. The game does not follow a script so how you plan to take a mission is entirely up to you. The game has an almost overwhelming number of tactical stealth features that may leave you a bit confused at times, but it all works out for the best. This game certainly deserves a place in the top games released this year. It was nominated for the GOTY and won the Best action/adventure game beating Arkham Knight and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It has received a lot of very positive reviews. You can buy this game here.

2. Fallout 4

Coming to a close Second Place, Fallout 4 was one of the most awaited sequels announced at the E3 2015. In their very first press conference in the E3 2015, Bethesda made all the headlines by revealing Fallout 4 to the general public. Fallout 4 was released under very heavy expectations from fans and critics alike, being the next iteration to iconic RPG games like Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. The game has somewhat glitchy but a very wide map of post-apocalyptic Boston. Don’t get us wrong the graphics are beautiful and sometimes too good to be true. The main story is not a catch, but the game does features a plethora of very well-written side quests. The game is sure to keep you busy for a very long time (almost 100 hours). You can buy the game here.

1. The Witcher 3

No surprise to see this game top our list of top 7 games of 2015. Developed by Projekt Red, this game took the gaming community by storm and took the top honour at the 2015 Game of the Year Awards. Released in the summer season, the game received rave reviews. An expansive map 30 times larger than any of the previous versions and an excellent combat system. Having an iconic and one of a kind storytelling, and cinematic sequences the game is just a pleasure to play. The conclusion of Geralt’s story, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a game that is worthy of all the hype around it. Buy Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on sale here.
