Honda has launched the much awaited Honda NAVI at the 2016 Auto Expo priced at Rs 39500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The aggressively priced mini bike from Honda gets an elementary styling featuring dual tone colour theme. With Honda NAVI, the company has introduced an all new entry level off-roader bike segment which is sure going to lure customers to the showrooms. Honda NAVI is the first model to be built at Honda’s R & D in India and is explicitly developed for the Indian market.
Rolled out in three variants namely Street, Adventure and off-road, the bike is available in five colour options-Patriot Red, Hooper Green, Shasta White, Sparky Orange and Black. Power will come from a 110cc, single cylinder engine generating 5.84Kw and 9Nm. With a ground clearance of 156mm and weight gauging 101kg, the bike is adept at taking up any road in India. Honda is offering a number of customisation options on Honda NAVI giving an opportunity to customers to make additions to the bike as per their requirement and liking. With the new models slated to be launched this year, Honda aims to sell 50 lakh units this year.
This would mean intensified production of the products and with operations beginning at its fourth manufacturing unit in Gujarat from February 17, 2016, Honda looks all geared up to meet its goal. Besides Honda NAVI, the company is planning to get five new models in India by the end of this year. While bookings for Honda NAVI have started effective February 3, 2016, Honda will commence deliveries from April.
