LeEco has announced that the successor to their extremely popular Le1s, the Le 2 will be launching in India on the 8th of June. Acoording to rumors, the device will be ready for sale immidiately after the launch but if it will sell on Flipkart or Amazon, or both, is yet unclear.
Our Sources have told us that LeEco will be launching the device around the price of Rs 12999 while having a first-discounted-sale of the device at Rs 11999. Le 2 had recently been launched in China for CNY 1099 (approx Rs 11,200) and the Le 2 Pro for CNY 1399 (Approx. Rs 14,300) for the Helio X20 variant, and CNY 1499 (aprrox. Rs. 15,300) for the Helio X25 variant. At this point of time we are unsure whether the company will launch variants in India or not. This would become clearer after the launch event.
We expect the Le 2 to have a 5.5″ HD display, a 2.3GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC with 3GB of RAM. Also, the device might have a 16MP rear camera + 8MP front camera with 32GB of internal storage. We can safely assume that the Le 2 would have 4G connectivity among other connectivity options.
What is rumored is also that LeEco might launch Le Max 2 alongside the Le 2 on 8th June in India, for a speculated price of Rs 29999. Le Max 2 is LeEco’s higher end offering and is expected to have a 5.7″ QHD display, a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with a massive 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It would most probably be having a 21MP rear camera + 8MP selfie shooter with 64GB of flash storage and a 3100mAh battery.
HOWEVER, these are all speculations and rumors and we will only get to know the actual details of the devices once they are launched on 8th June.
