It has been less than a month since the Lenovo K4 Note was launched in India and got a great response just like the K3 note. We had covered it Live and you can read about it here. But it seems Lenovo K4 Note is already history as the Lenovo K5 Note has been announced in China already! The smartphone will come with a full metal body.
The Lenovo K5 Note emcompasses a 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) LTPS display and a Mediatek Helio P10 chipset supported by a 64-bit octa-core processor and Mali-T860 GPU. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The Lenovo K5 Note has a 13MP rear shooter and a 8MP front selfie cam! The smartphone boasts a 3500 mAh battery with fast charging and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI.
Other features of the Lenovo K5 Note also include a great fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone which can be programmed to make payments and capture photos. The Lenovo K5 Note supports dual SIM, 4G LTE, as well as the newer VoLTE. The phone, like its predecessor comes with a 1.5W speaker on the rear boosted with Dolby Atmos technology.
The design of the Lenovo K5 Note has been totally revamped. The front firing dual speakers have been removed and the body is all metal, giving the device a more premium feel compared to the all plastic body of the K4 Note. What should be noticed is that Lenovo K5 Note comes with 2 GB RAM whilst the K4 Note was launched with 3 GB RAM.
It is possible that the Lenovo k5 note is not really a successor to the K4 Note. We know that the K4 Note is exclusive to India, similarly the Lenovo K5 Note will be exclusive to China. The device comes at a price of RMB 1,099 (Rs 11,500). This price itself is quite near to the price of the Lenovo K4 Note. The device will be sold using flash sale method in China this week onward.
