Taking its M series to its next level Meizu M3 has been launched which is the successor of M2 in China. This smartphone is launched in China for now and is priced at 599 yuan (approx. Rs. 6,150) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) variant and 799 yuan (approx. Rs. 8200) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) variant. The device is already available for pre-ordering in China and will start shipping from April 29. Meizu has not revealed any detail regarding the global launch yet.
The Meizu M3 comes with a 5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels), has a pixel density of 296ppi and has a body of polycarbonate. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 which house a quad-core cortex A53 cluster clocked at 1.5GHz and another quad-core cortex A53 cluster clocked at 1GHz , which is beefier than the one of its predecessor. The device has a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture.the rear camera supports face detect auto focus feature and also has the fingerprint sensor. The Meizu m3 comes in a dual-sim configuration with a hybrid sim setup which lets you expand the storage via a microSD card slot . In terms of connectivity, it supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS / GLONASS. It is backed by a 2,870mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS along with MIeizu’s are 5 OS skin atop it.it comes in the range of bright colours(now including blue, pink, gold, grey, black and white). And has a thickness of 8.4mm.
This phone has a lot of potential and features to offer and could easily give a challenge to other smartphones in that price range, but the phone is currently available in china and there is not details about its launch in India.
