Motorola has been quite vocal on YouTube recently, bashing other phones for being prone to getting their screens being broken easily. And let’s be fair, we all have seen people using phones with broken screens all around us because, a) they break easily if the phone falls from a little height and b) they are expensive to replace. What is Moto doing about it, you may ask? Moto has come out with Motorola Moto X Force! The device is the much awaited ‘shatterproof’ phone. Moto has recently sent out invites for the Motorola Moto X Force India launch event which shall be taking place on the 1st-2nd February, 2016 in Gurgaon.

Motorola has gone all the distance, they have posted the video mocking other phones on Flipkart.com with the tagline of “COMING SOON”. The video displays how screens of high-end smartphones like the Xperia Z5, iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S6 shatter after being dropped by mistake but how the Moto X Force  survives the same drop with finesse. Following is the video of Moto X Force:

Motorola Moto X Force encompasses a ‘Shatterproof’ display which apparently, even when dropped on a concrete slab, doesn’t shatter. The Moto X Force boasts an “aluminium rigid core display”, a new type of dual-layer touchscreen panels and a flexible AMOLED screen. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 processor supported by 3GB of RAM.

Moto X Force  is supposed to be launched in 2 variants of internal memories, of 32 GB and 64 GB. The device will also feature a microSD card slot to expand the memory.

One the Camera front, the Moto X Force features a 21MP rear shooter and a 5MP front selfie cam. Technical details aboutthe cameras used on the Moto X Force will be disclosed once the phone is launched.

Moto X Force is running on Android 5.1.1 and includes regular connectivity options such as 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi along with all major 5 sensors like Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

The Moto X Force runs on a massive 3760 mAh battery. The Moto X Force is also supposed to have something called as the ‘TurboPower Charging’ feature. According to this, the phone is supposed to provide 13 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.

As of now, there is no official word on the pricing of this latest offering from the house of Motorola, but we are assuming that the device will retail around Rs. 29,999 in India.
