OPPO recently launched its front shooter focused phone, the OPPO F1 in India with a price tag of ₹15,990. The phone is mainly a budget camera smartphone. OPPO said that the phone would be available for purchase from February and they also announced another variant of the phone called the OPPO F1 Plus, which would be launched later.
OPPO had announced that the F-series of its smartphone range would mainly be focused on Photography. Sky Li, OPPO Vice President and Managing Director Quoted,
” F-Series would inherit the excellent camera Performance and Exquisite Design.”
How the OPPO F1 fares against its competition in this segment still remains to be seen, but the phone is definitely not for the people who want serious processing power from the phone.
OPPO said that the phone mainly focuses on people who like to take selfies. They also declared that the front shooter of the phone takes significantly better and clearer selfies than the other phones in the same price segment. OPPO has also added a screen flash feature in the phone to take better pictures in Low-Light. The camera application has been reworked giving features like gesture and voice control, a comprehensive beauty mode with filters and many more. It is clear that the phone has focused mainly on the front camera rather than its back camera.
