There have been many reports earlier about the upcoming Oppo flagship under thier R Series, the Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus to be released on March 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center. Recently, both the smartphone were spotted at a certification website TENAA, which has given a good insight on the to specifications.The full specifications of the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus has been leaked by famous Steve Hemmerstoffer aka ‘@OnLeak’ ahead of official launch, which are almost similar to the TENAA listing
As per @OnLeaks, the Oppo R9 would feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display. It would be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, which would be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. The phone will include a 16-megapixel snapper on the rear and a 13-megapixel shooter on the front. It will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop with colorOS 3.0 on top of it and will be backed up by a 2850 mAh battery, as per the leaked spec sheet which says that the handset measures 151.8×74.3×6.5mm and weighs 145 grams.
The Oppo R9 Plus would offer a 6-inch Full-HD (1920x1080p) AMOLED display. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, which would be paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It too will have a 128GB micro SD card slot.
Further, the device will sports a 16-megapixel shooter on both its rear and front panels. This 4G device will also run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with colorOS 3.0 on top of it and will be backed up by a 4120 mAh battery. The handset will measures 163×80.8×7.4mm and weighs 185 grams.
