The Surface Pro has adopted a 12.3 inch PixelSense screen, slightly bigger than the last year’s model and higher resolution. The tablet itself remains of the same size with thinner bezels. The device is 8.3 mm thick. The Trackpad size for the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover has been increased with 10-point multitouch for extra gestures to provide. The new keyboard is lighter in weight, also sporting a built-in fingerprint reader. This will work in Windows 10 with Hello biometric authentication feature. Specs of Surface Pro 4
Microsoft chose the 6th Gen Intel Core m3,i5 and i7. The RAM is available in 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB. It also has USB 3.0 (not Type-C), microSD card reader, headset jack, Mini DisplayPort, Cover port and the SurfaceConnect. The storage capacity range is as follows: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The tablet has a 5 MP front camera, 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and 1080p HD video recording. The Surface Pro also has the Stereo microphone along with Stereo speakers with Dolby audio. The battery is claimed to last for up to 9 hours.
The Surface Pro Type Cover is sold separately and will be available in 5 different colors with the classy feel. The other accessory is the Surface Pen which will be compatible with the Surface pro. With the iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy Tab series and the new Google Pixel C, the end user is going to be benefited with such competition. The Surface Pro 4 will be available starting October 26, starting at $899. Pre-orders start on October 7.
