Xiaomi previewed its RedMi Note 3 on May 3rd. It was also announced Xiaomi launching Mi5 in India, its next flagship. Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to release in the coming month of April. The phone was already showcased at the Mobil World Congress. The smartphone came into the limelight because of its amazing specifications providing it in a reasonable price range in China, for more than 16 million registrations. The smartphone has a 5.15-inch IPS screen with a full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The phone, as usual, packs a dual SIM system, both nano and comes with the latest OS of Android Marshmallow with the Mi UI 7 flavour. The Mi5 also sports a 16MP dual-flash camera and 1080p video recording. The phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 based with quad core depending upon the variant. The normal version has 3GB RAM with 32/64 GB internal memory and the ‘Pro’ version of the Mi5 has 4GB RAM with 128 GB internal memory. The Pro edition is huge on the specs point of view. The Finger Print sensor is built into the home button in the front. The phone supports 4G LTE and VoLTE network for the SIMs, has Bluetooth 4.2 and supports USB Type-C. The smartphone has a 3000 mAh non-removable battery and can do fast charging through Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The price of the phone is rumoured to be around CNY 2,499 mark which converts to around INR 25,660. The Mi power bank of 20,000 mAh was also launched but the price was not disclosed. The Redmi Note 3 was priced at Rs. 9,999 and the new Mi Bluetooth Speaker was introduced at Rs. 1,999 at the recent event. The Xiaomi Launching Mi5 in India sometime in the month of April this year is worth waiting for.
