Le 2 is the first phone to feature the 64 Bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset clocked at 1.8 GHz. This is coupled with 3 Gigs of LPDDR3 RAM. The chipset gives Le 2 an edge over the competitors, With Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 having the Snapdragon 650 and ZUK 1 powered by a two-year-old Snapdragon 801 chipset.
USB Type C Port
Le Eco probably taking cue from apple decided to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack for its le 2 and the audio is be routed through the USB Type-C port. The phone will come with a USB Type C to 3.5mm adapter so fret not, you will be able to use your 3.5mm earphones with the phone. This port can be used for charging, data transfer and listening to audio. The move may not go down well if the type C headphones come out to be more expensive than its audio jack counterparts and no one likes to carry around an extra adapter.
Since the fingerprint scanner was first introduced it has been one of the most embraced technology in the smartphone field. Le 2 has a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera where you would normally place your fingers while holding the device. The sensor can read the fingerprint in any orientation and has a read time of 0.15 seconds. Apart from this, the fingerprint scanner can also be used for privacy security.
Recently VoLTE has gained a lot of traction and is featured on most smartphones.
